Anxiety & Panic Hypnotherapy
When your mind won’t switch off, life can feel exhausting.
Clinical Hypnotherapy in Fuengirola, Lake Viñuela and online
Anxiety can show up in many different ways.
Perhaps you’re constantly worrying about what might happen next.
Perhaps your thoughts go round and round, making it difficult to switch off.
Maybe you experience panic attacks, feel constantly on edge, or notice physical sensations such as a racing heart, tight chest, breathlessness or dizziness.
Sometimes you know exactly what you’re anxious about.
And sometimes you simply know that you don’t feel like yourself anymore.
If anxiety is affecting your everyday life, you don’t have to keep trying to manage it on your own.
Anxiety is more than just worrying
We all experience worry and stress from time to time.
But when anxiety starts affecting your sleep, relationships, work, confidence, social life or ability to enjoy everyday things, it can become much harder to simply “switch off”.
You may find yourself:
- constantly thinking about what could go wrong
- replaying conversations or situations
- struggling to relax
- feeling overwhelmed by everyday demands
- avoiding situations that make you anxious
- experiencing panic or a feeling of losing control
- finding it difficult to sleep because your mind won’t stop
- becoming increasingly aware of physical sensations in your body
- worrying about the anxiety itself
And sometimes the anxiety seems to have become a habit in its own right.
You don’t have to have all the answers before you start
One of the first things we do is simply talk.
You don’t need to arrive with everything neatly explained.
You can tell me what’s happening, what’s worrying you, what you’ve noticed changing and what you’d like to be different.
From there, we can work out whether Hypnotherapy is an appropriate approach for you and what kind of support may be most useful.
How I work with anxiety
I work with each client individually.
There isn’t one anxiety script that works for everybody, because anxiety can develop for very different reasons and can affect people in very different ways.
Our work may involve helping you to:
- feel calmer and more grounded
- understand and change unhelpful patterns of thinking
- reduce the intensity of anxious responses
- build confidence in situations you currently find difficult
- develop better ways of responding to stress
- feel more comfortable with uncertainty
- break patterns of avoidance
- reconnect with a sense of control and choice
- develop greater confidence in yourself
The focus is always on you and what you need.
What about panic attacks?
A panic attack can feel frightening.
Your heart may race. Your breathing may change. You may feel dizzy, shaky, hot, tight-chested or suddenly convinced that something terrible is happening.
And once you’ve experienced one, you may start worrying about having another.
That fear of the next panic attack can itself become part of the cycle.
Hypnotherapy can be used as part of an individual approach to help you develop a calmer response to the thoughts, sensations and situations associated with panic.
If you’re experiencing new or unexplained physical symptoms, however, it’s important to seek appropriate medical advice rather than assuming they are anxiety.
You are not your anxiety
Anxiety can become so familiar that it starts to feel like part of who you are.
It isn’t.
You are a person who is experiencing anxiety.
There is a difference.
Our work is not about pretending that difficult things haven’t happened or forcing yourself to “think positive”.
It’s about helping you develop different responses, greater awareness and more choice in how you respond to the things that currently trigger you.
And because every client is different, your sessions are tailored around you.

Working with me
I offer one-to-one Clinical Hypnotherapy, either in person or online via Zoom.
We begin with a conversation so that I can understand what’s happening for you and whether I am the right person to help.
Your sessions are then tailored around you, your needs and what you want to work on.
There is no obligation to continue after your initial conversation.
Locations: Fuengirola · Lake Viñuela · Online via Zoom
Want something to try in the meantime? Our free calming videos and audio are on the Resources page: Peripheral Vision, Calming Breath and 3-3-3 Here and Now.
Ready to feel different?
You don’t need to know exactly what you need before you get in touch.
You simply need to know that the way things are right now isn’t working for you.
Let’s have a conversation.
Tell me what’s been happening, and we can explore whether working together feels right for you.
